New used Cobalt 826 speakers
« on: November 12, 2010, 09:13:14 PM »
I think I found the speakers for my little tube room!  Awesome on the D76a (75 tube watts /channel).  When I find my camera I will upload some pics.

2 6.5 " woofers, 1 6.5" midbase/midrange and inverted dome titanium tweeters.  " W "  woofers/mid  trickled down from the Utopias.

OPC  (Optimum Phase Crossover) with a glass cover to show them off  8).  Crossover points 200 and 2200 HZ.  92 db 2.8v@1m.  Nearly 60lbs each.

 ;D ;D ;D, I just can't stop  ;D.

you bastard. I've been trying to sell shit to afford those.
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

It was the same guy who had the Celestion bookshelves a while back.  I was going to buy them, when he called to tell me he had decided to keep them.  I think he felt bad about backing out of that deal and called me.
