Bunch of stuffs needs a new home
« on: December 04, 2010, 10:46:55 AM »
I have a large collection of audio collected over the past 10 years. I live in Swisshelm Park, near Swissvale, and will send pix if desired., but stuff is stacked in my dry basement, so pix are not easy.

There is much more, and if you are interested in tubes, let me know...

EPI Stat-450. pair, electrostatic tweeters, 10" new and correct woofers. New wall warts for the stats. Exceptional sound. Large speakers. Cosmetically fair. $300, which is what I have in them.

B&O Beosystem 10. Very cool working Boombox. $60.

B&O Beosystem 2200. Receiver with TT, cassette. Looks good, works good, Includes DIN connectors $120.

Single Mcintosh MC60. Good condition, slight pitting of chrome. all original, works but I lost vacuum in one of the 6550 tubes, so it needs one. $1250, firm.

2 Heathkit wm-5. Great tube amps in horrible cosmetic condition. Put away 8 years ago, so I assume they need to be re-capped. One PT is not original. $120 for the pair w/out Genalex kt-88 output tubes. Will negotiate for tubes (these are rare and valuable).

Parasound TCA 1200- Huge torroidal transformer, 205 clean wpc. Good working order, scratched up case. Will drive anything short of a PAT bus. $250.

Leak esl-57. Single, untested, needs a power cord. Consider one of the best all-time electrostatic speakers $275.

Dynaco full set
st-70, been sitting for a while, may need caps. I think I have a full second set of tubes, including the difficult to find 7199 peanuts. Cosmetically okay. All stock $350.
Pas 3-x. This is the desirable model that bypasses the tone controls when set to flat. Very good condition. I replaced the original jewel light with an led to help power supply, but other than that, is stock $275.
FM-3 good working order, I believe, but will check before selling $100.

Sansui 1000 A-well-regarded tube receiver. Two sets of tubes. Need to be recapped. Good cosmetics. $225.

AR 4-x. Needs new treble pots or bypassing. $100/pair.

More to come. But that's a start.

Thanks for looking.
Sam

I just joined the forum and saw your 12/4 posting.  Is the B&O 2200 system still available?  If so, do you have any pics?  Thanks.
