anybody wanna jam?

Here's the jamming system...
I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

It's a copy. A $700 copy, but a copy nonetheless. It's a Epiphone gold-top with P-90 single coil pickups. It's actually got an awesome tone once you get past the single coil hum...

Very cool setup Ed.  Though I have no musical talent at all.
Got Carver?

That is an excellent guitar.  I really like the tone of P-90's by the way..

Very nice Ed! ;D

What kind of music do you like to play?  Original matrial, covers, etc?

Whatever's clever... I've been in a few bands as singer and guitar for cover and original stuff. I've wanted to be a drummer since I can remember and I finally got a kit for my 30th b-day present and I am just enjoying playing. My buddy Mike comes over a couple times a week and plays some gitter while I smack the heads for fun. It usually ends up being bluesy stuff until we get a few beers in us. Then we head in the grunge rock direction and scream a bit. Always fun!  ;D

I just thought up a dumb money making idea, let me know if you think it would work... "play along karaoke"... Just like regular karaoke except drums and guitar would be set up so someone could play along with a singer. I think it could be a fun idea, I just don't know if it would catch.

Is that a Mesa amp? I used to have a Rect-O-verb combo that was a tone machine. I sold it when I got into rack gear. Now I have a JVM.

It's a crate, but I don't remember the model. It's a 60 watt 2 channel 1-12 tube combo. Sounds great. Got it used for $200. I think they sold for like $650 new.
