Thanx for the feeds kids

I agree with Bill as the 901's as stand-alone's are rather flat and dull. Lets get real... they have no woofers, no tweeters and no crossovers. they derive their sound from the accoustic matrix cabinet design and active equalization. Nobody in their right mind would design a speaker that way. however Amar Bose was not of sound mind. If he was, he would probably be a salesman selling the shit, instead of running a fortune 500 company.
however...
The combination of the 901's, velo's and linaeum tweets produces way more then the sum of their parts. The soundstage is wherever your eyes are gazing at at the time... ceiling, side walls, between the speakers... whatever. The total effect of this much power along with the seamless blending of the linaeums and of course the velo's makes for an effect that even the most sought-after speakers don't produce.
Remember folks it's not just the sound you hear, but the overall effect your system produces for you. 901's give you something even the most sought-after speakers can't. Wheather that sounds good to you is a matter of personal taste. but once you experience that "something", you will be looking for that "something" in your system and others you audition. Then you will see why people love these along with their 43 year old technology.
So again My place is small, but my couch is comfortable so come on over and hear what I've been preaching about for about a year now. I promise you an experience that rivals the power and realism of a concert at the point.
Get to work fella's
