I just hooked up Tommy's Sansui 1000 and was screwing around and I noticed it souded like the bass was dropping when balance was in "center" and louder on left or right. First thing that came to mind... polarity. It was right on the amp. I know it's right on the upper drivers because I did work on them. So I pulled the woofers. Same on both sides. OK 50/50 I swapped + & - on the right driver. Well gentlemen, that bass issue I've been whining about with these speakers all this time is cured
