I thought i'd share my project with you guys. I bought this turntable on ebay, i've been wanting to make a custom table for awhile. The first pic is what the table looked like originally. The second is a pic of the base I'm still working on. The third pic is the type of veneer i'm going to use on it, bubinga waterfall.
I'm going to use the original tone arm but it was setup for mono so i'm running new tonearm wires with rca jacks on the back of the plinth. The power button will also be moved to the back along with a iec jack. The motor is very solid and is a keeper for now. The plater is in good shape and will shine up nicely. The inner plater looks to be made out of porcelain or some poured material, very odd but solid.
