Is there a good reason to turn an amp off when not in use? Is there a good reason to leave an amp on when not in use? I leave my bryston on 24/7 and have had no issues. I have a quiet pre that I turn off and on without any "pop."
I know this has been debated before, but not on this forum. I understand the expense of leaving tube amps on, so this question is relegated to solid state only.

I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.
