New to the Forum, no one has ever accused me of being intelligent so please bear with me.  I'll figure this out sooner or later.  Listed below are a few items I have up for sale or trade:  JVC QL-A7 Turntable, Harmon Kardon T45-C Turntable with record clamp, Phase Linear 2000 Pre-Amp and a 200 B Amp, Yamaha C-2 Preamp, Onkyo A5 Amp and T-4040 Tuner, SAE T-102 Tuner, Sansui G-5700 Receiver, Kenwood KR6170 Receiver, and last but not least Magneplana SMG pair, MGII pair, MGII need repaired and MGI only have one speaker. The gear changes all the time.  I'm just an audio whore and I like to play with all different kinds of audio.  Merry Christmas to all.

How do you like the Phase Linear 2000 Pre-Amp and how much are you looking to get for it?

  I thought it sounded great just didn't think it drove the maggies.  So I bought a JBL 6260.  Was trying to sell amp and preamp together for $300.00.  Thanks for the response.

 Yes, it is.  I believe it was JVC's top of the line in it's day.  Only reason I'm selling it is because I bought the Technics SL-M3 off of Tom. If interested I'm asking $250.00.  Thanks for the response.

Looking at the specs of your PL amp and owning several pairs of Maggies, including MGII's, the wpc aren't enough.  You have to go 200+ wpc to have them open up.  That's the same for not only MGII's but even my "newer" 3.6's.
