For Sale: Grado SR60 / SR80 / Sony MDR-V6
« on: July 05, 2012, 04:15:44 PM »
I'm selling my Grado SR60's, Grado SR80's, and Sony MDR-V6's. All three sets operate perfectly and sound as they should. I won't bother describing the sound characteristics of each set of headphones as quick trip to google or Head-Fi will provide more than enough information than any one person can process. Sorry some of the photos are blurry.

SR60's: Sold

SR80's: Sold

MDR-V6's: Sale Pending

I would love to have them as a spare set, but am still unemployed now.  Good luck with your sale!

I've more or less given up on the "spare set" idea. All it does is cause animosity in my brain every time I try to decide which cans to listen to.

Those went fast.   Maybe Vintage Hi-Fi should look into becoming a Grado dealer.

Which set of cans are your daily drivers now?

Mine are either the Beyerdynamic T-70 or modded Fostex T50RP MKIIs, both driven by tube amps.

Either the mighty Stax SR-5's or the Grado 325is's. The Stax cans just sound like liquid bliss.

You love those modded Fostex cans, eh? I need to swing by and hear them.

I dare you to say that to Tom in person. :)

You have a standing invitation to come by and give them a listen.

I'll make it eventually.

I've read quite a bit about the modded T50RP's. I can't wait to give them a listen.

Shawn,

Where abouts do you live? I'm heading back to IUP late tomorrow / early Tuesday for a while. It might be more feasible to ship them or to meet up tomorrow.

Thanks,

Elijah
