Well, that date is probably fine if I haven't flipped it by then. I've been giving it a lot of thought and, sadly, I can't keep the unit out with my very special needs son. The Mullards wouldn't last a week. Playing it hidden in a case would ruin half the fun for me and possibly shorten it's life span.
I still may keep it stored until the day he goes out on his own, but
A) I don't know for sure that will ever happen
B) If it does, it won't be for years and both the amp and I would have to survive for that long, and
C) I could really use the cash (see A&B).
It is a very challenging decision.
I took one shot at selling it locally and getting visitation rights, but either the cash cost was too high or the thought of having me come over was!
