Another Test...Swervedriver
« on: December 22, 2009, 03:18:04 PM »
A very under appreciated band from the UK called Swervedriver.  They put out music what is considered "shoegaze".  Their album Mezcal Head is one of my favorites.  Track 9 called "Duress" has some lows and highs that will challenge any speaker.  My Bozaks have 15"s, cabinets the size of old console tv's and this track still pushes them to the brink.

I will have to see if Rhapsody has them and give them a try.

For the most part they're a noisy guitar rock band.  But that track has a very low drum that can shake the room.
