had my quarterly scans this past Friday. For the first time in 3 years (and 3 bouts with cancer) I finally got some decent news from scans. Not awesome but decent. The chemo treatments, which really suck, have shrunk 3 of the lesions on my lungs to oblivion and the 4th has shrunk quite a bit. Next step is radiation then 6-8 more months of chemo along with the regular quarterly scans. Unfortunately the origin of my cancer is colon which is very aggressive and keeps spreading and according to oncologist most likely will continue to spread at some point. But at least for now no surgery.
