My new tube CD player
« on: November 21, 2013, 03:37:15 PM »
I am guessing this was one of the first hand built ones from the 80s,  Melos 347H.  It started as a Magnavox CD player (not sure exactly which one yet), Phillips CDM-2/10 laser and 1541 DAC, Melos tube stage, outboard power supply and heavily modified board.  Its not fully functioning yet, but it will be shortly.  Here are some naked pictures:
Duntech PCL-400 (Black Knight), KEF 105/3, Snell Type b
Aloia PST 11.1, Terra Song ss-1, Luxman c-1000, Melos MA333
Llano Phoenix CA-300, White Audio Labs A100, (2) Luxman M4000
McIntosh MA230
