Technics SL-1200 with Grado Reference Sonata mounted
« on: December 07, 2013, 09:10:44 PM »
New dustcover.  Sounds amazing. Everything works.  Kicks any Rega's ass  IMO. The Grado is less than 6 months old, low hours.  Package price for stable forum members  (as in you are not a week-old and participate and attend meetings [and bring beer to meetings] - trust me I know who those are) is $600.   If you are not a forum member that is not your price dude - that number will get you the Sonata by itself only.  But contact me any way and I will get you a good price (but not as good a the forum member price).    I can demo the combo before buying so you can see how cool it sounds,  demonstrations costs two beers however,  and they have to be IPA.  If you are the type that likes to negotiate,  please note I am not your type,  go to a Mexican flea market instead and have at it.  Keep in ming the cart is fresh and the dust cover is new. Like one day old new.  The Sonata sells regularly on ebay for $500 by itself,  so this is great deal. Will keep it here for a couple of days before moving to ebay.  If you are interested in the table by itself you can have it (assuming you are a forum member) for $300.  Tom alleges he can hot-rod this table to kick VPI ass,  so you could buy and do that.  Cosmetically 8/10 using my owns scale,  which means there might be a scratch in the base her or there. PM me if you have questions.

Great table at a great price. I have one that Tom / Anders reworked and Litz wired
And the sound is a great bang for the buck 👍
a bunch of nice sounding stuff. Nice that I'm finally able to actually listen to file music for the first time...
