WTB: Stereo Stand
« on: January 02, 2014, 01:54:28 PM »
Hiya All,

Anyone around, possibly close-ish to Uniontown, that has a sturdy stereo stand they're looking to get rid of?  I need to pick up something in the near future and thought I'd check here first.

Thanks!
preamp: BAT VK-5
amp: Altec 944sa
DAC:  Bel Canto 2.5
CDP: Pioneer Elite DV-47a
Intel NUC server / iFi micro iUSB3.0 / Roon
Spendor FL9

I like the idea of building them using Lak tables from Ikea.  I think they are $8 each.  Simple and sturdy, looks good IMO, and you can tailor the inter-shelf size to your specific needs.

(this example has a Polk center channel wedged-in that looks less than elegant [hey - it was a prototype],  but you get the point)

Thanks, gents!

The one in Brooline looks a bit smaller than I'd prefer, but the ikea idea ain't so bad.... I've got some airport runs to make in the near future!

Pepe,

What's the new box on the Rane?  It wasn't there the other day.
