I'm also fond of Boddington and Belhaven Scottish Ale.

Taddy Porter is good stuff.

Try some barley wine is you ever get a chance.  No commercial brands that I'm aware of, but local micro breweries sometimes have it in the Winter.  Think it is about 15% alcohol and tastes like a very fine beer.
