Sansui SP-20000 drivers

I just took apart the most impressive Sansui speakers I have ever seen.  Here is what was inside.  The mid and tweeter are completely milled aluminum, a solid block, no plastic here.  Even the knobs on the tone controls  and grills were metal!  This was a statement speaker that was never sold in the US.  Enjoy, Nick

Very interesting.  Get a chance to take 'em for a spin before you popped 'em open?

Unfortunately no, the woofers and passives need refoamed and the cabinets were really beat up.  This is one of those cases where parting it out makes more sense.

So it goes.  If it's as rare as stated, you'll likely make somebody's day filling out their parts needs....   maybe abuck or two on it as well!

yes it was, about forty receivers, preamps, amplifiers, crossovers, tuners, random electronics and about twenty pairs of speakers.  it was rather large.

I know this is an old thread, but I have to ask  out of curiosity, did those SP20000 come with the stands?
