BSR EQ Problem
« on: June 03, 2014, 12:44:12 PM »
I've got a BSR EQ that only works for the right channel. The left channel puts out very little sound, and the sliders do not affect sound quality at all.

But, if I press the power button quickly about 20 times, the left channel will work for a few minutes. Then, it craps out again.

Any idea what it could be?

My eq-3000 did the same thing.  I never did diagnose it.  Seemed like a bad solder joint because it would work after tapping it on the side.

If it has a tape loop,  check it for proper function.  It may need cleaning.
