A couple setups at my house
« on: June 09, 2014, 09:47:54 AM »
Here a couple of pictures of my (much envied, apparently!!) bedroom setup and a system I put on the porch this weekend.  The bedroom system has Vandersteen 2Cs connected to a Rotel RX-885.  The setup on my deck is two KLH Twenty-Six connected to a small Pioneer receiver.

Nice! I really like your outdoor system... Nothing
like having a cold one while sitting outside and listening
to some good tunes! Enjoy
a bunch of nice sounding stuff. Nice that I'm finally able to actually listen to file music for the first time...

I hope to be able to do just that sometime soon.  Now I am usually listening while working around the pool or yard.  I also have the amp hooked up to a pair of Polk indoor/outdoor speakers that are mounted under the deck for listening while floating around the pool.

Very nice!

Listening to tunes while chillin' outdoors with a beverage is so much fun in the Summer.

I have four KEF Ventura 5s on my deck and patio.... using a second zone from the Marantz SR through an Adcom 535II to push them.... actually sounds pretty good... I highly recommend the KEF Ventura speakers.... they have decent bass and don't have that "sound coming thru a tube" character that a lot of outdoor speakers have.
