The last few days when I log into this site it seems to be loading slower than hell. Also moves slow when trying to read threads within the site. Anyone else experiencing this issue ? I dont have this problem anyplace else , only here.

As goes the old adage - You get what you pay for.
The site is run on a budget hosting plan so it's not going to be very peppy.

I don't know what hosting costs, but maybe you could sell subscriptions for $5 a year or something.   I'd buy one, and I suspect that most of the regulars would.   I don't think that any of us expect Tom to eat the costs of everything.   After all, this board has grown into more than just an ad for the shop.

I've been complaining about this server for a few years now. Glad to see I'm not crazy.
I'm up for a voluntary subscription.  A mandatory subscription may keep lurkers out. those lurkers (like myself) eventually become customers and contributors.
