HT receiver with HDMIs and phono
« on: December 17, 2014, 08:54:26 AM »
Looking for a HT receiver ; 5.1 with HDMIs and phono for a good friend. Power/ watts  isn't an issue. It just has to have HDMIs that work and a phono input.

Let me know : make, model # and asking price, please.

Jim
a bunch of nice sounding stuff. Nice that I'm finally able to actually listen to file music for the first time...

Check out the Onkyo TX-NR626. It's not the best at anything but it has a great feature set for the price.
Desk:
ObjectiveDAC, Technics SL-1500 w/ Grado Black Cart -> NAD 1000 pre -> Emotiva Airmotiv 4
Bedroom:
Creek 4330R -> DefTech StudioMonitor 450
Home Theater:
Onkyo TX-NR809, Rotel RB-981 -> Boston Acoustics VR-40, VR-12 Center, Soundware surrounds, Velodyne VRP-1200

Thanks, his budget is in the "new to me" range, thus the posting here.
He might have to settle for one without phono, and get a cheap phono amp...
