Need a VGA adapter
« on: February 07, 2015, 10:42:20 AM »
I have been asked by my church to handle the sound and video.

Anyone have to sell or donate a VGA to S-video adapter?
I am at a loss as to any other way to get a newer laptop (vga out) to interface with an older vid projector (S-video in)

Any help would be very appreciated

Have a great weekend, all
Andrew

i find it hard to believe that the projector doesn't have some kind of VGA or DVI input, which would be a lot easier to find an adapter for, and it's much higher quality than s-video.  does that thing really only have s-video in?

My church used something very similar to this for years until we got our new projector.   I don't know what ever happened to it, but this one is really inexpensive...

Our old projector only had RGB in.
