McCormack Signature CD player
« on: February 09, 2015, 02:57:12 PM »
One of my newest toys and boy is it a rarity.  A Steve McCormack Signature CD player, I have never seen another for sale, the Prism II show up from time to time but never the Signature.  I think it is a Philips CD 60, but heavily modded.  It does use the Philips TDA1541A S1 CROWN chip.  Here are some pics, thank you for looking.  Nick

Yup.  That matches my old cd60.  I really wish Philips would have done a better marketing job in the USA.
Even there low end CD players were great.  I once had a few Philips headphones and always held them in high regard.
They knew audio well.  Marketing...eh.

I picked up a pair of Philips studio monitors that I plan to rehab over the summer.  AH-477.

I actually prefer the sound of my old 14 bit modified magnavox.
But today i'm really only interested in vinyl.
