early father's day present
« on: June 21, 2015, 12:33:58 AM »
As I'm blessed enough to still have both my parents we are going to see them Sunday for father's day.  Because of that BJ came over with Xinlei for dinner Saturday night and brought me a really awesome gift. Those that have visited me have seen my massive collection of remote controls (8 or 9).  They bought me a Logitech Harmony 880 universal remote. He even programmed most of my stuff into it already. It sure does take some getting used to even though I admit it's pretty intuitive once programmed & tweaked. I love how the screen changes to match the selected device. My older son (brother bj) is going to detail my car (Explorer) inside & out and wax it. It's a late model so it's full size and is going to be a lot of work!
And the best present of all we get our granddaughter, Kali, for a couple days. She sleeps over quite a bit and is a real sweetie. She also loves to stay with BJ & Xinlei

I picked up the Harmony 915 at Xmas, we have both been very happy with it.
