I'll do what I can promoting it even though I don't know if I'll be able to attend until we get closer to the date. Event name suggestion..."audio orgy" or "hifi orgy". Very classy.

We'll need a lot of help from our members to help promote the event, assist in set up, tear down, etc.  All of us want this event to get better and grow.  We are trying do do some disciplined planning.  Your enthusiasm is welcome!  Thank you!

Yes flyers would be step up in marketing.   I would guess that good places to put em would be -

- The stairs leading to Jerry's Records
- Galaxie Electronics
- Every Half Price Books we know
- The libraries

Not to be a jerk and this isn't directed at ST-Rider or anyone else, but I would think the last thing this needs is advertising to the thrift store crowd. I think the goal is to have eager buyers looking to purchase good gear at good fair prices not someone hoping/looking for a "scroe" so they can flip it to pay bills and or brag about it on some online forum.

Serious gear for serious buyers, in my estimation, should be the goal.

The thrifts are drying up.   I'm sure there are people going to thrifts looking because they want vintage equipment but don't know where to go.

So V, my Leak setup isn't "serious gear" because I got it at a thrift?   Because I occasionally flip something to pay a bill means that I'm not a serious listener?   I guess only six figure guys are entitled to good sound, regardless of their passion or ability.
