I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

 I didn't click on your link, but I imagine it is for the McIntosh gear on CL. If I wasn't saving for a house, I would make an offer.

Good question.  It most likely wont go for less than $2500.  OCCD or anyone who knows what MAC equipment would be able to give a bettter idea.
