yep, couldn't get to the site at all until this morning, and now can't get to the shout box.... thanks to those trying to fix things.

Vintage equipment can be finicky.  We ordered new Nichicon caps for the shoutbox, and will install them as soon as we receive them.  The sound should be smoother, with tighter bass.  Stand by.

Do not put any $#%@$ Hello Kitty stickers on any caps that I am associated with.  I have PTSD from the work I went through to remove those damn stickers. OCCD, Rev - you still owe me for that one!  Vengeance will be mine... (someday)

Same here, issues for the past couple of days.  Says the site isnt up and then a refresh brings it back.  Strange indeed.  I to have no shout box.

I've had no issues other than the shout box since I updated my shortcuts to www.vintagehifi.audio/index.php, no http.

Sorry guys, I have been working on resolving issues. I couldn't even get in myself to say that.. There have been some bad bots swamping the server - I don't know if they were malicious or just poorly behaved. The shoutbox has been temporarily removed to get a baseline server usage profile. The shoutbox can add considerable load since it is constantly polling the server for updates.

I've had luck with adding https. Why not use a secure connection since it was added?
