I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Man that bird and bacon were awesome!  I can still taste it.  I'll be dreaming about the bacon wrapped ham for the April meeting.  Maybe lusting is a better verb!!! 

It was a great time, good music, good people, excellent grub!  What's not to like!  Thanks for hosting!

Anyone down for an emergency, well not really an emergency (we don't need an emergency to listen to music and drink; I mean, that is the point to all of this, right? To enjoy music through nice sounding equipment and knock back the occasional draft or two, right? Well for some of us it's not that occasional, more like nightly... but then again why stray from a good thing. But an emergency is not needed, right?), meeting this thursday?? Tommy, if you're down I'm going to swing by around 7...
