SCORE! Yamaha CT-800 on CL!

Not that I didn't enjoy my CT 400... But there's just no comparison. I'm presently using an indoor t-style 300 ohm antenna, and it's pulling stations out of the mud. If it sounds this good now, I can't imagine what I'm going to get when it's properly aligned and connected to an external antenna! DX'ing, here we go!

Congrats!  Very nice tuner 8)  I can't begin to describe how much better it will sound with a roof mounted Yagi antenna.

That's a beautiful unit. If you're a serious DX'er you need to get a Sony XDR-F1HD. It just might be the most sensitive selective tuner ever made. I don’t think it would beat the Yamaha unit in terms of sound quality but for pulling in stations nothing beats it. I’ve had several stations from Cuba and The Bahamas several times this year with the Sony.
