I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Mirage, Wharfedale frankensteins with Infinity woofers and Philips tweete, Nad (in cabinet), AE sub hiding

Thanks guys... Both systems sound pretty nice. They are definitely poor man's specials :D, but they are nice for now. I'll post pics of my Wilson Watt Puppies on Krell and Threshold after I win the powerball.
