The Attic is one of my favorites.  Digger's paradise, reasonable pricing, and they really support local bands.  Afterward you can stop by for an amazing beer at Grist House - best brewery in PGH IMO

I enjoyed seeing them this summer.

Tues Nov 27 @ The Club at Stage AE. Just $17.

All I need to do is find a bay sitter, my wife will be out of town that week.

The original Chrysalis I had was very good, but the MFSL is slightly better if only for the Quiex vinyl.   The masterings are very similar.

first post in quite a while, ran across this on youtube recently, so when I found the LP today in a thrift I couldn't pass. Sadly the vinyl sounded as bad as it looked. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, soundtrack

Lots of listening lately.   All my scores from coupon week at HPB and the new surround Blu-Ray of Electric Ladyland.   Nice mix, awesome fidelity (at least on the surround channels, the stereo still seems to be over-compressed).

And currently listening to Joseph Jarman "Song For" on CD (Delmark)

Yesterday I stopped by and made another haul from the fellow liquidating his 40000 CD collection.  Picked up Coltrane on Atlantic Mono. a Lee Perry Trojan Singles box, Miles Plugged Nickel box, and a large stack of singles mostly classic jazz (Lee Morgan Andrew Hill)  also grabbed a few Miles XRCD Prestige releases.  I'll post complete list as time permits.   Lots of amazing music.    Next visit I plan to dig thru the rock/alternative stash.  Still wrestling with thoughts of buying the Charley Patton Revenant box.  Does anyone have it can give opinion?

An amazingly well preserved Decca black label from either 1955 or 1958.   Sounds great.   NEVER buy any MCA reissue of this album, they are all fake stereo.   Decca rainbows were labeled "rechanneled" if they were fake stereo or no label for mono, but the original black labels can't be beat.
