If you could have either one, which would you choose, and why.
I have two Denon POA-6600A mono block power amps, I have wanted for a long time to get a Sunfire 300x2. Now I have the chance to get the Sunfire, but can not have both. :( :( So, now it is decision time.
The amps will probably be powering the B&W 802's.
So, help me out guy's. Which one would you choose??

You should know my answer, Sunfire.
I do believe that both would power the B&W's just fine but there is a feature on the Sunfire that you might like.
There are two sets of binding posts on the back. One is Current and the other is Voltage. The Current will give you a tubish sound while the Voltage is normal. It is like the T mod on a Carver M500T.

I'd go with this instead: :P

SUNFIRE! Do I really need to explain? :o
-
I have very little experience with Denon, only a Denon receiver & it was fine.
Given the above I would still go with Sunfire ina minute !
Not only because of the dual output (Tube/ss) but also because of the technology. The tracking downconverter Bob Carver invented is truly revolutionary.
I have powered my system with several different Carver amps & as much as 500 WPC. I now use a 400 WPC Sunfire (7400).
It is a bottomless bucket of clean power & never even gets warm.
My .02

SOUNDDESIGN...my best friend in high school had one with built in turntable and....shitttttttttttttttt....SUNFIRE!!!!! Draws less current, gives more output!!! 8) 8) 8)

that one is easy, Sunfire.

Krell KSA-300 20 amp draw, weighing in at around 150 lbs this legendary piece is a man's amp. Dead quiet, very dynamic with a frightening amount of power and headroom.

Wow, that sure is a purty picture. All I can find says +or- 2db from 55hz to 20khz.
Where did you find that? And what series speaker is that for.

Just buck up and snag a pair of Levinson 33's.

Is that from the 805 system? Pretty ugly, from a very expensive system.
These ones I have for now are the 802 series 80, They are pretty good.. Not the best, but for the price I paid, hard to beat... ;D
I like these ones as they are not ported like the newer versions. I think these have a much more natural sounding bottom end. And as far as I hear, a pretty smooth response from top to bottom.
I think these will be needing a tweeter, so if anyone knows where to find a B&W TS-26 tweeter, please let me know.

You killed a tweeter already... Polk Killer?
