So I was looking on CL for carver stuff out of boredom like I do and I found this, http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/ele/2601841475.html

I screwed up last time I got something on CL.  How would I test this stuff to see if it is any good?  What should I avoid, what should I hope for?  Everything pictured is included.   Looks like a steal but I don't know.

I am confident that an SL-1200 is capable of outperforming turntables of much higher expense with minor modification.

Someone needs to buy this.  The Carver stuff is worth a lot more than $300.

Some guy called on the phone and said he would buy it without even testing.  Which takes priority over me coming at 7:30 am.  Lost out that deal.  Hopefully I will find another good one soon or I guess just cross my fingers for now that my receiver can be fixed!  :P
