Got Treasures?

I never thought very highly of Chinese tubes until I replaced a pair of Mullard 12AT7's in my tube preamp with a set of Shuguang Psvanes. I have since been very impressed with them. Then, I decided to try the Shuguang Treasure 6CA7's. These tubes sound VERY GOOD! Tight extended bass, deep and wide soundstage, crystal clear, defined highs and an absolutely BLACK background. They are so good that I am not sure if I ever want to roll anything else in there again. They replaced a quad of the Russian 6p3s-e that I liked. Both the Psvanes and the Treasures look great also. I got the Psvanes from Grant Fidelity and the Treasures from a vendor that the guys at the Tube Asylum strongly recommended. The vendor is here: http://www.goodcomponent.com/

They are a great tube, I have been using 12 x Shuguang Treasure KT88z's in my Cherry 180 mono blocks for over a year
I love this tube.

I am going to order the Psvanes 12AT7 and 12AX7 and replace the controller tubes in my amps, glad you like them.

Top Grade A without the fancy schmancy case. Ordered from a guy named Clark in China. I believe I paid around $250 shipped.

That was the price for a matched quad. I just looked at the invoice-total $253 shipped. They are still burning in (50 hours so far)...and getting better every day. I understand it takes around 300 hours to burn totally in.

At the time I purchased them, they cost me $900.00us plus shipping and Canada customs import fees
so around $1200.00 landed cost.
I did not purchase them from Grant, I got them from another dealer in the US. In the last year the price has come down a lot.

They do take about 300hrs for burn in.

Yes I do like my system, but still play with tubes for my Pre Amp, I think I am going to order some 6922 from Carl.

FYI I emailed them about the speaker cables on the website and they said they are out of stock on those and not sure if they will be getting again from their supplier.
