Sounded good but not enough power. We then connected the Sunfire 400x5 and they woke up (800 watts [4 ohm] times 4 will wake up any speaker).
Have you added some weight like sandbags or heavy blocks to the base to hold the flimsy frame steady and anchored down?

@F1 - we removed the original Plat x-over from the the circuit. An active cross-over is handling the frequency split. As I understand, the load the amps are seeing is now 4 ohms - that is what the experts tell me. Do you know different?
