I test mine every now and then.  Last time I was good to about 17khz.  As long as I can do 15khz, I am not worried

The Dirac program in my Emotiva sounds better when I tell it to leave everything above 15K alone.  I avoid equalizing the upper octaves if I can,  as Klaus noted,  seems to create more trouble than good.  And avoid fighting the dips too much.

Absolutely stay away from the crossover points.

I'm too afraid to get my hearing tested.  I'd rather just pretend that I have a good ear.
