Saw a review of Nik Bartsch's Ronin Awase in one of the audio mags, thought I'd risk it....  fantastic album; great pressing/ mastering. And the music is extremely interesting and very good!
a bunch of nice sounding stuff. Nice that I'm finally able to actually listen to file music for the first time...

I love the epic title track, but this is my first time hearing the whole album.   It's really great.

Go ahead and laugh, I'm secure enough in my masculinity to admit I have this on the table right now...

And now for something completely different...

So far I'm really digging this.   It's much more melodic and accessible than I expected it to be.   I was cleaning it for an easy flip (I got it at a moving sale), but I think it's going on my shelf.   It's fairly rare on vinyl.   I thought between Horses and Easter I had all of her stuff I would ever need, but so far this is really good.

Tried starting mine yesterday as well. It’s says “guaranteed to start” right on top. Guess who is cleaning a carb tomorrow?

"Mellow Guitar"   George Van Eps   Columbia -6 eye (Mono)

Picked up a surprisingly clean copy for a buck yesterday at local estate sale yesterday, before the Storm of the Century hit.   Never had any of his music but remember him being featured in Guitar Player magazine back when I thought subscribing to these magazines and reading more articles would improve my guitar playing!!!  Great playing of some standards wwith a little string orchestra accompaniment.  Still very jazzy.....

Now I have to head out to help move a car off my neighbors lawn.  Her son the doctor got it stuck when he slid off the driveway last night as he attempted to leave for work on an early morning emergency call.   Looks cold out there.
