Pat Benetar - Crimes of Passion

It holds up surprisingly well.

I had to spin it once before I send it away.   It's good, De Los Angeles is great as always, but like many ballets it has a lot of dead space and really needs the visuals to make it complete.   I'd like to have it on Blu.

Abbey Road MFSL

It's great, but a bit bass heavy for me (which I rarely say).   I prefer my Blue Box copy, but it's close.   This certainly spanks a US Apple.

It only slightly bests a common RL pressing, and I usually listen to the surround DVD-A of this now, but it was  buck at the thrift, so...

A great sounding recording regardless of medium.   An engineer would almost have to work hard to try to make it sound bad.

Agree, that recording is great to start with.  Is that version 180g at least?

No, better, it's Quiex.   They deem it "Teldec virgin vinyl" but it's hard and translucent like Quiex.   Its a really nice piece of vinyl.

It's as good as I had hoped it would be.

So I just shelved the above album and this was next to it.   I had to play it.   I got this from the buck bin at HPB back when they used to actually put decent albums in the buck bin.   Scorpio, do you know this guy?   Might be up your alley.

Saw the post and pulled it out to go on next. Too bad he passed away so young.

The Black Crowes- Croweology. Perhaps my favorite Black Crowes release.
